Seventeen year old Justin Bieber has had some pretty charmed teenage years after his Youtube videos found their way to the eyes and ears of record execs, leading to his launch into fame. The Biebs has been pretty patient and understanding as he grasped for super stardom.
Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, may have went too far this week, most likely embarrassing the teen by discussing some issues that may be very noticeable on the teen’s newly released Christmas album.
“Vocally, his balls have dropped,” Braun told Billboard.com.
Justin’s jaw also likely dropped after learning that manager’s less than subtle announcement of puberty.
Braun went on to say that the teen experienced some difficulty with recording the album, noticing that his voice was deeper than it had been just a year ago. Bieber had a hard time reaching higher notes when he performed his duet, “All I Want for Christmas,” with megastar Mariah Carey.
Steve Bartels, of Island Def Jam Records where Bieber is signed, was greatly impressed with the album, despite the recognizable changes in the singer’s voice. Bartels referred to Bieber’s growth as “blossoming,” before saying he believes that fans will be very pleased and surprised with the album.
